Technical Tours

Experimental Centre of Nanjing Hydraulic Research Institute
Established in 1984, the Experimental Centre of Nanjing Hydraulic Research Institute covers 28 hectares and includes 35 large-scale experimental halls, with a total construction area of about 130,000 square meters. It serves as an important base for fundamental research, technological development, and major engineering studies. Its facilities include wave basins, flumes, tidal current simulators, erosion and sedimentation models, dams, ship lifters, ship locks, and more.
Niu Shou Mountain Technology Center
The Niu Shou Mountain Technology Center of Hohai University covers 13 hectares. It includes the largest wave basin in Asia, measuring 84 m × 70 m, which supports comprehensive investigations of coastal resilience through three-dimensional experiments. The center also includes a triaxial six-degree-of-freedom underwater vibration table system for seismic simulation.

Optional Post Conference Field Trip
